Jether Jireh “Jai" Castillo manages Jai Castillo Law, A Professional Corporation, in San Diego, California. Most of his clients are Filipino kababayan.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Jai studied economics at the University of Santo Tomas and pursued law at San Sebastian College-Recoletos. After passing the Philippine Bar Exam, he worked as an associate attorney at a law firm with a highly regarded tax practice.  His practice involved corporate and business law, taxation, estates, and litigation. Family ties brought Jai to the United States, where he successfully challenged the California Bar Exam to become a California attorney.

 

In the U.S., Jai gained experience in commercial transactions, contracts, corporate housekeeping, and immigration. He worked as an associate attorney in a personal injury law office and served as legal counsel to a technology firm. In 2023, Jai left the corporate work to focus on his practice as a solo attorney.

 

Jai lives in San Diego with his wife and two young daughters. Outside of law, he is passionate about family, music, and Jesus Christ.
